Section 8

I read things once, and then again… not sure I understand it even now…

In Thailand, where 21 year-olds must report for military conscription, being a crossdresser gets you out of duty.  Permanently.

It also gets you a certificate that you must present to every employer, stating that you have a “permanent psychological abnormality.”

Interestingly, those who have had breast implants or SRS are not immediately exempt, and must report for 3 years before gaining their exemption.

My inference:  if you’re wearing women’s clothes but not transitioning, you’re a state-certified nut.

The Long Wait

Bathroom use for tgirls seems to be all the rage as a hot-button issue for the acceptance of trans people – a ridiculous shame of digression and distraction.

In any event, I had a bit of a challenging experience yesterday.  I usually just go in, quietly proceed to an open stall, do my business and get out without making an issue of the whole thing.

But, the restaurant where I was last night had a women’s washroom that had a beautiful waiting area complete with vinyl sofa and it was meant to be used; there were only 2 little cabinets off in the corner.  The restaurant is rather large, so it should come as little surprise that there was a line – and there would always be a line…

Kiss and Tell

I’m not one to kiss and tell, right?

Yesterday, I posted an account of an evening I spent with a guy, and I included a couple of pics, including one of us kissing.

I knew something was bothering me about the post before I put it up, but now I think I know what it was…  I think I subconsciously realized that I was worried that my post was tantamount to showing off my date to everyone… kissing and telling, as it were.

Shoes, Glorious Shoes

Ok, I’ve gone stark raving mad over shoes these last weeks.

Usually, I buy a bunch stateside and satisfy my hunger for a time, but this year, I never got my chance to buy any there.

When I returned, I realized that I had a gaping hole in my shoe collection – nothing white, and one solitary bone-colored pump that I had worn to death.

Rejection is Good for the Ego

Ahhh, the Dating Game…

Bachelor Number One

Out last night at a bar, I found myself dancing alone on the dancefloor when a guy came up and asked if he could dance with me.  Not really interested but happy to have some attention, I agreed.

We danced for a song or two, and then he started dancing ever closer to me.  At first I tried to restore the distance between us, but eventually gave up on repeatedly backing away.

However, certain business had to be taken care of.  I don’t do surprises, and I’m pretty sure that dancing any closer would have given him information he might not have been happy to receive in that way, if you know what I mean…

Oh Dreary Day

Quite a comedown from my Las Vegas trip, I am back to the drudgery of daily life…

Today is as grey and dull as can be, spitting rain and very cool – quite a come-down from the sunny, warm southwest U.S.

Also had to deal with the tedium of getting out of the house as a girl again.  There is a subtle emotional price you pay for having to subjugate your authenticity to reality.

Ho, hum…

Anyways, just had a quick look around and made a dash for the car.

White Matter

Scientists seem to have found differences in what they call “white matter” patterns between men and women, and in a soon-to-be-published study, have shown that transsexuals patterns don’t match their physical gender.

The point of the study seems to be to find the proper candidates for delaying the onset of puberty until the patient can better cope with a sex change operation.

For more details, you can find the complete story at http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn20032-transsexual-differences-caught-on-brain-scan.html?DCMP=OTC-rss&nsref=online-news

Breast of All

We CDs are often preoccupied with the boobs we don’t have, and I think that’s a shame.

I, for one, have dropped the whole thing for the most part.  I have noticed that many supermodels have precious little in the breast department, and clothes fit best on them.

My own GF, who is well-endowed to say the least, is jealous of how clothes hang on me.

So, don’t fret.

good man hard to find

A Good Man is Hard (to Find)

For women, finding the right man can be a hard thing to do in the best of circumstances.  But, for me, the difficulty is off the charts.

Just being trans whittles down the pool by more than 90%, I figure.  But that’s just the beginning.

High Cheekbones

One way to feminize your face is to give the illusion of high cheekbones – a surprisingly easy thing to do.

The trick here, like with many other techniques, is about creating the illusion of shadows where you want valleys and highlights where you want peaks.
