Shoes, Glorious Shoes

Janie and her summer shoesOk, I’ve gone stark raving mad over shoes these last weeks.

Usually, I buy a bunch stateside and satisfy my hunger for a time, but this year, I never got my chance to buy any there.

When I returned, I realized that I had a gaping hole in my shoe collection – nothing white, and one solitary bone-colored pump that I had worn to death.

I recall only too well, that it is well-nigh impossible to find those colors after summer, so I was on an immediate quest.

Fortunately, my trusty shoe store – every girl should have a place where the shoes just tend to fit her right and come in styles that appeal to her, at fabulously inexpensive prices – had just the right items in stock.

Unfortunately, I was like a kid in a candy store.  Too many perfect choices.  It was hard to say no to any of them, and I rarely did.
