Self-Portrait – The Real Me

Just a little practice doing a self-portrait. I am working to improve my craft, but sometimes it is slow-going. Then again, I think this one has something special to say…

TGs in Tiaras – A Gala Ball

“TGs in Tiaras” is the name given to a brand new event hereabouts.

It will be a glittering ball with everyone dressed to the nines in their finest gowns, cocktail dresses and formal attire. It is a nice idea and a great opportunity to get all made up, dolled up and dressed up.

For me, it is a doubly happy affair, as I have the honor of having been selected as the photographer for the event.

Leather Dress

Today, I bring you a brand new photo, fresh off the presses. (Or is that, “Hot off the griddle?” … Would you believe, “Right out of the darkroom?”)

Perhaps I shouldn’t comment on my own work, but if I didn’t say stuff, you wouldn’t have a reason to visit, right? So, what the heck…

I really like this shot because it seems there is more to it than simply, “Look at the pretty girl.”

Holiday Wishes

Not to wait til the last minute, I wanted to take a moment to wish all of you Merry Christmas, or if you don’t celebrate that, then a Happy Holiday season.

Here’s hoping you get lots of great prezzies – and if not, then be good to yourself and buy one for yourself.  Then, when you open it, look in the mirror as you smile and say, “Oh my!  It’s exactly what I wanted!”

A Girl’s Good Name

I have been deliberating lately about posting risqué photos of myself online. Why? Why not?

It is funny that some t-girls use the fact that they look unlike their true selves and have a made-up name as license to behave in a way that they truly might be ashamed of. Of course it has occurred to me that I could publish even pornographic pictures of myself and it would not affect my daily life or reputation.

But it would affect Janie’s.

And Janie is me.

Finding my WildSide in Vegas

I have been back from Wildside and  Las Vegas for two weeks now, and somehow haven’t managed a report on the fabulous week I spent there.

I didn’t really know what to expect when I finally met up with these Wildside gals. The main reason I chose this group is that they seemed a lot more fun and raunchy than the other. As much as I desired to let my hair down and have a good time – rather than just a nice, proper and evolved time – I worried that I might be too tame for this crowd. How wild and crazy were they? How far would they go? How far would I go? There is only so much you can tell from online interaction, right?

More Smiles for the Camera

(continuation of Smile for the Camera.)

I tried to manage a smile despite my embarrassment, and Derek seemed impressed with the photos he was getting. “Cmon, honey, stroke your leg… give us some sexiness…. I know you have it in you!”

I was almost ready to cry, but I tried, touching my ankle and caressing the side of my calf. Massaging myself calmed me down a bit, as did the slightest tingle of excitement I felt at Derek’s interest in me.

I got up like a newborn doe, legs wobbly on my high heels and, bending forward to obstruct his view as I lowered my skirt back into place. Then, I dusted myself off and looked into the camera. “I can do this,” I thought to myself.

Smile for the Camera

A little fiction to spice up your day:

I started out the day as usual, arriving at the office around 8:30 a.m. I was wearing my vintage navy blue skirt and sleeveless matching top with white stitching in the wide boatneck collar and curved triangular buttons down the front. It turns out that my boss’s partner had a meeting across town and he had taken his secretary along, and the photographers were out on assignment, so only Derek and I were in the office.
