Ahhh, the Dating Game…

Out last night at a bar, I found myself dancing alone on the dancefloor when a guy came up and asked if he could dance with me.  Not really interested but happy to have some attention, I agreed.

We danced for a song or two, and then he started dancing ever closer to me.  At first I tried to restore the distance between us, but eventually gave up on repeatedly backing away.

However, certain business had to be taken care of.  I don’t do surprises, and I’m pretty sure that dancing any closer would have given him information he might not have been happy to receive in that way, if you know what I mean…

Billy Elliot Revisited

Last week’s post was about Billy Elliot, the musical.  I must have just been defrosted after years in cold storage, since I had no idea about the movie.

Feel the Woman on the Inside (and Outside)

This morning I went to a seminar on how to make your voice more feminine. Not surprisingly, the upshot was that if you move like a woman, gesture like a woman, intonate like a woman and so on, the pitch of your voice – unless you have a deep bass Johnny Cash-type voice – is not that big a factor in passing as female.
